Will You Be Coming Out With More Water Sifu Podcasts?

Not likely.  I get many emails complimenting me on the podcasts and asking me to come out with more, and I always appreciate them.  When I stopped doing the podcasts I didn’t stop because I got bored or busy or just didn’t want to do them anymore.  I stopped because I felt I had completed my goal… like when a writer finishes a book.  My goal with the podcasts was to provide you with the most efficient use of your time when studying for your exams, and I think they do that very well.  To continue to come out with more podcasts would only water down the material with other things that aren’t “the most critical things to learn” and would make the whole series less effective in my eyes.  As it stands, there will be questions you are asked on an exam that are not covered in the podcasts, but the nature of these exams are such that no matter how hard you study and how detail centered you get, there will always be questions like that.  My goal was to get you to focus on the MOST important things and I feel very comfortable that anyone who knows everything covered in my podcasts, videos, and Water Math courses will pass any exam.

I am still podcasting, though not in the water industry.  I have a podcast, “Breaking Your Chains”, which focuses on finding happiness, overcoming fears and obstacles, and pursuing our dreams.  I also have “Kauai Podcast” which is a travel podcast that focuses on the island of Kauai, and “Exploring Tampa Florida and Beyond” which is a travel podcast mostly focusing on the Tampa area.

More specific to the water industry, I have created courses which can be used for continuing education.  I have completed a 2 ½ hour course on Biological Contaminants and Disinfection, a 4 hour course on Water Quality Problems and Treatment Techniques, and have converted the Water Math DVDs into online course versions.  All are approved in California for continuing education hours and are currently available via the “Continuing Education” tab of this website.  If demand is there, I will continue to add courses as needed.   You can see the “Continuing Education” tab of this site for updates.
