Subjects covered include variations on the pipe flow formula (solving for pipe diameter, water velocity, etc.), specific gravity and density, dosing with percent solutions, dosage problems solving for “how many gallons”, converting gallons of a percent solution to pounds, gallons to liters conversions, horsepower (water, brake, and motor), calculation of pumping costs, and pressure and force problems.
